I can't believe where the time goes and it's 2 weeks since I posted on here.
I've had a week off work and a little break in the motorhome which was lovely, with snow, rain & sunshine!!!
Today I thought I would share with you some things I made in December for a "special" birthday for a dear friend.
This was the collection of goodies before they went in the bag.
The card - I use the dictionary stamp on the background and the music wheel on top behind the tag. The tag is from Notable Notions as are the buttons. Viola Lace wheel is at the bottom of the card. A splash of colour using Gorgeous Grunge and sentiment
I also made a memory jar with adding a little pad of paper to write memories on and place in the jar. She can then look back at the little and big things, good & bad memories that have occured during her 50th year!
A rosette on the top of the jar
Close up of the doily on the jar and little pad of paper to record her memories
Tag a box decorated with patterned paper with hearts punched out which I then used to stick on the tissue paper wrapping.
James kindly punched a birthday greeting into the spoon for me :)
And last but not least ...........
I had great fun making this, looking through all my stamps to see what I could use!
I made the envelope with envelope punch board, making it a little deeper than normal and made a belly band to slip over it to keep it closed.
I love co-ordinating cards and packaging and hope it gives you some inspiration.
I have a few more projects ready to share....keep checking back x
