Birthday butterflies & flowers

My Mam's birthday card using Petite Petals, butterflies and a touch of sparkle!

Colours are Perfect Plum and a bit of Rose Red.

 The frame was created using the square framelits and glimmer paper. The inside is Natural Ivory card cut using the square framelit  and stamped using the Hardwood stamp in Crumb Cake. Gorgeous Grunge was used to add a splash of colour with Perfect Plum.

Petite flowers were stamped in Perfect Plum, stamping a few times without re-inking to create different shades.

Butterflies punched and inked in Rose red and Plum on the edges.

 I used the Artisan Label punch to create a window in the background. Stamping the greeting on white card and then raised on 3d foam pads, just adds depth and interest. I then tucked a little banner punch underneath.

Raising some of the flowers with foam pads created more depth along with stickles and liquid pearls in the centre of the flowers.

Matching stamped envelope to finish.

Hardwood anniversary

I had 2 cards to make for the the 24th June and today I'm sharing the anniversary card I made using the Hardwood, Gorgeous Grunge, Banner Blast and a stamp from Language of Love. I have also used one of the new in colours Lost Lagoon, don't they just have gorgeous names!

Birthday jar

It was a lovely friends birthday this week and I'm sharing the card I made for her. The jar is from a set by Crafty Impressions. Stampin Up did have a set which is now retired and I so wish I'd bought it !!! I remember at the time thinking what can I do with them, then I've seen quite a lot of lovely cards using jars for all sorts of occasions. 
I did find some lovely ones in the US with matching die cuts but they were going to be quite expensive with shipping & possible customs, then I found this set. certainly don't stamp as well as Stampin Up but hey ho.

Timeless talk tags

I can't believe it's June already, half the year nearly gone!!!!!
Today I'm sharing some thank you tags made with Timeless Talk stamps which are quite good for decoupaging.
I used the telephone and there is an old style gramophone and a penny farthing.
