Sprinkles of Life stamp set.....

......is a versatile set, has a matching Tree Builder punch and each one siold Stampin Up will donate £2 to Ronald McDonald House Charities that keep families togeter when chidren are receiving medical treatment far from home.

I started with some bookmarks in the new in colours, punching the ice cream tops in card and stamped the cone on watercolour paper used ink to watercolour it and then cut it out.

A touch of stickles on the ice cream and Crystal Effects on the apple/cherry make it look good enough to eat!

Boxes made with the gift bag punch board....

.....I saw a video by Sara Levin showing how to make a box with a lid using the board. She has a board on Pinterest with a few videos on, here is the link to it.

https://www.pinterest.com/theartfulinker/this-is-how-you-do-it/

She made a medium box using an A4 sheet of card. I decided to use a 12" x 12" and made one out of Kraft card which then holds 3" x 3" cards & envelopes, making a nice gift.

3" x 3" cards in the new In Colours with matching envelopes using the new envelope paper and envelope board.
New stamp set Sprinkles of Life.

This box uses 12" x12" Delightful Dijon in colour card.
As the card is longer than the gift bag punch board you need to use a score board or guillotine with a scoring facility to score the full length of card.
It does make a nice sturdy box ready to decorate how you wish.

I use Sprinkles of Life and Your'e So Sweet stamps that matches the treat bag framelits.
Bow builder punch bow on the lid to finish off.

June already!!!!!!

Where is this year going? I can't believe I haven't posted on here for 2 months!!!!

So much for trying to post regularly and making cards the month before they are needed I'm failing miserably, but hey ho life gets in the way sometimes as does work, gardening, lack of energy and mojo.

But the launch of the new Stampin Up catalogue has given me a bit of a spurt and I have enjoyed creating with some new goodies.
I will share theses with you along with some other things I've been making and what I did at the Scrapaholix retreat back in May, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

One of my favourite things I have been making uses the new gift bag punch board. I love giving nicely packaged gifts from chocolate to more expensive gifts.

You can create bags with a width of approx. 7cm, 8cm, 9cm and the depth is 5cm.
You can adjust the height depending on the what you want it to be up to 10" height if you use 12" paper/card depending what you do at the top of the bag.
You can also create boxes, so it's a versatile board and they are super quick to make.

These give you an idea of the size using paper cut at 6" depth.

These use the new Designer Series Paper Stack - these are from the neutrals which  include gold & silver.
The tall bag use a 12" x 12" sheet and I have made a flap at the top, not punched the holes and used a prg to close it.

This bag is another of the patterns in the paper stack.
Some other new products used are the banner punch, Sprinkles of Life stamp set, cotton paper to make the tassels and the gorgeous In Colour lace.

Check back tomorrow for some boxes made with board.
