Tuesday tag time.....

...better late than never!
Why is it when you tick to remain logged in it ignores you!!!!!
So this morning as you do, I made a quick tag before I went to work. Then when I go to sign in my blog I had to enter my details and my memory as it is now and with loads of different passwords etc couldn't get the right one. So I had to leave it until now.

As I had some embossed baubles already prepared I decided to make use of one. I love the effect of embossing vellum, which is how the background of the tag was created. I used Sizzix double sided adhesive sheet, and stuck it to a piece of card and then out this through the big shot using beautiful Baroque embossing folder, which has to be one of my favourites. I added little patterned edge using the appropriately named finishing touches edgelit.
P.S I have now written down my e-mail and log in details so hopefully it won't happen again - if I can remember where I've recorded them LOL!

Tuesday tag time.....

this weeks tag uses Everything Eleanor and is a quick tag to make, though it does involve a bit of cutting out to cut round the shape - but I don't mind that. If you don't like cutting out then you can stamp the shape and cut a rectangle or die cut a tag !
(see post on 5.8.13, or search by set name at side of Blog for other examples)
The tag matches the card I made - hope this gives you some inspiration and think about the stamps you have that you can do this with, especially with Christmas round the corner

Tuesday tag time....

Todays post are the tags I made for the cakes I made for the fundraiser at work.
The cake idea came from an event I went to in Darlington and a stall there had them.
I'd never seen mini Jammie Dodgers, but good old Morrissons had them!

Tuesday tag time

I've done it again, prepared the post to go on the blog on 1st October checked today the 6th as I have had a busy week, to find it was still in draft!!!! So hopefully it will post on the 8th.
I made todays tag to match a card for a friend at work celebrating a special birthday! So I'm sharing both with you.
Colours are Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe and stamp set is Mosaic Madness, Memorable Moments for the "50th" and Fabulous Phrases for the "for you" and "birthday" and "Happy" from Teeny Tiny Wishes. The flowers are punched out using Itty Bitty punch and curled with a ball tool.
I embossed the brown bag to match the card, added a doily, ribbon and the tag.

Pink chocolate house

This is something else I made for the fundraising was a raffle prize.
It is a lakeland mould. You can do it in gingerbread, you get the recipe, or melted chocolate and decorate how you wish.It does take about 1kg choclate!!!!
I used white chocolate and coloured it pink. Added Jazzies for the roof, Dolly Mixtures for the wall aroud it and Giant Jelly babies  which were just the right size!(from Morrisons) There are 2 bags of Strawberry Bon Bons inside it too.
The lady at work who won it was over the moon.

Fundraising goodies

I've had a busy few weeks making lots of things for our charity fundraising event at work last Wednesday, for Breast Cancer and Teesside Hospice. We had a great day and have raised £1770 so far so it was worth all the effort.
It was a good excuse for me to make Halloween goodies so these are what I made

Cellophane bags with these brilliant chews that just a say fit. They have them in Home Bargains 89p and Morrissons for £1 at the moment. The top is one of the Apothecary framleit dies cut in half and stuck together to enclos the bag.

The hands are latex gloves stamped with halloween images using Stayz On black ink. Fill with sweets, tie ribbon round the top and a tag, very simple but effective and different. They were popular. Thanks to Natalie for finding the idea on Pinterest!

This is a Stampin up Decorative Window Box with Witches Brew DSP stuck on the sides, a tag and some bats created using butterfly punches! I saw this idea from a Stampin Up demonstartor Kimberley Lewis.

How to create the bats - punch a butterfly out of black cardstock and then stick with removable glue onto scrap paper.

Put the punched butterfly back into the punch to punch it again. The top of the butterfly wings cuts the bottom of the top wings of the butterfly - how clever is that!
