...to our fantastic son James and gorgeous daughter-in-law Natalie!
Yes for those that didn't know, they were both born on the same day, in the same hospital!
Just thought I would share this which is a copy of their birth announcements in the Evening Gazette - Natalie's first (Bailey) and then James directly underneath. And look what's in the column next to them!
Who would have known that they were to marry each other 24 years later!
Anyway thought you might like to see the cards that I've made them.
For James card I've used the Dictionary stamp as a background, stamped in Sahara Sand ink on Sahara Sand card, distressed the edges and matted onto Midnight Muse.
The postage stamps are from one of the hostess sets - Postage Collections teamed with the Postage Stamp punch.
The letters are cut from the new Coaster Board which is fab. It is a cream colour and I have stamped onto it and inked the edges. It is thicker than card but not as thick as chipboard and cuts lovely in the Big Shot.
Other stamps used are Gorgeous Grunge, That's the Ticket and Itty Bitty Banner greeting
I've been dying to use the Shop Around wheel and now I had the chance to do so!
I've rolled it in Crisp Cantaloupe ink on Vanilla Card and Baked Brown Sugar ink on Crumb Cake card. Then I had fun cutting and arranging all the bits on the Postcard stamp.
I decoupaged a few bits added some embellishments and matted onto Crumb Cake embossed on one edge with one of the Delicate Designs embossing folder.
