Tuesday tag time

The first post I did for Tuesday tag time used the Chalk Talk framelits and I mentioned the stamp set that co-ordinates with it Chalk Talk and today's post uses just one of the stamps from the set - Just a Little Something for a Very Special Some-one.

Hopefully it will give you some ideas and inspiration of how to use it.

Cherry Cobbler on white    - Coastal Cabanna on Crisp Cantaloupe - Black on White - White on Black

This is stamped with black on Vanilla card and I've hand cut around the image leaving the centre part intact. I used a craft knife to cut out the banner with the word Something.
Using Coastal Cabanna ink I stamped the banner section onto Vanilla card placed the black stamped image over the top so the word Something showed and stuck them together.
Use the tag already cut as a guide to cut the second tag. So the tag is double thickness of card and quite sturdy. I punched 2 holes to be able to tie the twill into a bow.
This is one of the new Tag a Bag gift Bags with sweets inside tied with ribbon and a tag added - how quick & easy is that to give some-one a little treat.

The next 2 photo's are ones I've used to give to friends and they both loved the tags!
The first I used on some flowers. I stamped the image again onto white card cut out the banner and raised it with 3d foam pads.

This tag was heat embossed in Early Espresso and gave a lovely texture to the tag fastened round chocolate filled cellophane bag tied with ribbon - again an easy little gift but was very much appreciated.

And lastly for today I've used one on a card. The base card is made from Natural Composition DSP, which makes a great background. The image stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe on vanilla card and hand cut so I could punch a hole to tie crochet trim through.
I have stamped the banner section again, cut out and raised on 3d foam pads.
The flowers are the small and medium from Floral Fusion Sizzlit and the tiny ones using Itty Bitty Punch. Pearls coloured with Crisp Cantaloupe ink mixed with Crystal effects - a perfect match!

Hope you've enjoyed today's tags....keeping checking back during the week I've got a few things to make this week though some I won't be able to show you straight away!
